As soon as Rahul Gandhi started moving, the whole crowd started following him towards Delhi. Rahul reached Badarpur village within about ten minutes. Vehicles were stopping while coming and going on the road, people were seen taking pictures of Rahul by lowering the glasses of the vehicles. Rahul’s convoy had now reached Ashram Chowk. Took rest for about two hours here. During this, Rahul went to a nearby ashram. When the yatra stopped at the ashram, some leaders considered it better to go ahead with the yatra, many leaders including Yogendra Yadav, Digvijay Singh, Kanhaiya Kumar reached the zoo between 2 pm to 2:10 pm while Rahul reached Nizamuddin Dargah at around 2:50 pm. Rahul Gandhi’s convoy again moved towards India Gate from Ashram Chowk at around 1:25 pm. Here the artists welcomed him with dance and drums. After this, the convoy reached the Red Fort at around 4.30 pm via Delhi Gate. Here Rahul addressed the workers. Someone stole the mobile phone of retired Colonel BC Lagwal who had come from Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh to join the yatra. Lagwal told that he had joined the yatra from near Sunder Nagar, when as soon as he reached the crowd, someone stole his mobile from his pocket. Shaurya Chakra winner Lagwal was seen reporting the theft to the police. Later he returned to Gurugram from the zoo back to his son.
