Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will begin from Tuesday after a nine-day break. During this, the state unit will have to exert strength not only in Delhi but also in Uttar Pradesh to make the yatra successful. The Congress high command has instructed the leaders and workers of the state Congress to go up to three kilometers to the border of Uttar Pradesh.

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will start from Marghat Wale Hanuman Mandir on Ring Road on Tuesday and will enter Uttar Pradesh from Loni border after covering a distance of about 10 meters in Delhi. There will be rest after walking three kilometers. The Congress high command has given the state unit the responsibility of mobilizing the crowd along the 10 km route to Delhi as well as the resting place in Uttar Pradesh. In view of this, the state unit has chalked out a different strategy as compared to December 24 to make the yatra successful in terms of crowd.

This time the state Congress has divided the yatra route into three parts instead of seven. Party leaders and workers of both the parliamentary constituencies of East Delhi region have not been called to the starting point of the yatra, instead they have been instructed to gather crowds on the yatra route in East Delhi and walk along with the yatra. The nearly nine kilometer route in the East Delhi area has been divided into two parts between them, while the third part of the journey will be from Hanuman Mandir to the Iron Bridge. Leaders and workers of New Delhi, Chandni Chowk, North West Delhi, West Delhi and South Delhi parliamentary constituencies have been called at the starting point of the yatra and they will accompany the yatra till the resting place in Uttar Pradesh.

The Congress leader will offer prayers at the Marghat Hanuman temple on Ring Road before starting the Bharat Jodo Yatra on Tuesday. He will not give a speech while starting the yatra here. On December 24, Rahul Gandhi performed puja at the Ram Darbar at the Jairam Ashram during the afternoon break at the ashram.

The journey will resume from tomorrow
Bharat Jodo Yatra will leave for Uttar Pradesh from Delhi on Tuesday morning. Congress workers and leaders are busy preparing for this. All necessary arrangements including quilts, mattresses have also been made in the container. More than 60 containers were delivered to Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. Maintenance and repair work has been completed to avoid inconvenience to passengers in the states of North India during onward journey.
