The Delhi government handed over checks of one crore each to the families of three corona warriors who lost their lives during the corona pandemic. On Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia reached the house of Arun Kumar Rakshit, who was an officer of the Health Department, and met the family and handed over a check of one crore. Rakshit got infected while helping patients during the Corona pandemic and lost his life.
Environment Minister Gopal Rai presented an amount of Rs one crore to the family of Corona warrior Babarpur resident teacher Mukesh Pal, while Revenue Minister Kailash Gehlot met the family of Corona warrior Rohit and handed over a check of Rs one crore.
During this]MLA from Kasturba Nagar Assembly Constituency]Madan Lal along with senior officials of Revenue Department were also present with him. Sisodia said that the corona warriors worked with alacrity on duty without caring for their lives during the pandemic and protected the citizens from this pandemic. He said that the country salutes the sacrifice of these brave Corona warriors.
