The dead body of a 19-year-old girl who was abducted two months back from Bawana area has been found from Bawana canal. The family members have accused a young man living in the neighborhood of abducting and killing him.

On the other hand, the family members protested by keeping the dead body on Bawana Road. The girl’s father told that a youth named Sawan, who lives in the neighborhood, had abducted her on September 22 after threatening to shoot her. They had complained about this in Bawana police station. The family members allege that the policemen did not register the case. The police personnel kept telling the girl to come back on her own, telling her that she is an adult. The victim’s family also told the name of the accused to the police but the police did not take any action.
