The application process for admission to nursery, KG and first grade in private schools for the academic session – 2023-24 started from Thursday. Since the Corona epidemic, most schools are giving the option of taking and filling online forms. Due to this, the crowd of parents in the schools remained less.

However, some schools have given the facility to collect and fill the form in both offline and online mode. At the same time, more than five hundred private schools have not released the admission standards. Because of this, the parents had difficulty in filling the forms of those schools.

In 1700 schools, the application process did not pick up pace on the first day. Parents obtained information regarding schools and their standards before filling the application form. Now the application forms for admission can be filled till December 23. After the completion of the process, the first list of admission will be released on January 20.

According to Dr. Satbir, Principal of Vidya Bal Bhavan School located in Mayur Vihar, both offline and online mediums have been made available to fill the form. About 45 registrations were done on the first day, out of which nine were done online and 36 through offline. Parents are not in a hurry to fill the form. By next week, the filling of admission forms will speed up.

Jyoti Arora, Principal of Mount Abu School, Sector 5, Rohini, said that we have provided the option of offline and online forms, but in the last few years, the trend is that parents prefer to fill online forms only.

150 registrations on first day
There were about 150 registrations for admission on the first day. It is expected that as the process progresses, the speed of admission will increase. Right now the parents are seeing and understanding the standards. Only then will you apply for admission.

Target to fill forms in 25-30 schools
Asmita, who lives in North Delhi, says she has set a target of filling forms in 25-30 schools for her child’s admission. Right now they have only seen the forms of one or two schools. There is still time, so she will complete this goal as soon as possible.

513 schools have not yet uploaded admission standards
The Directorate of Education had asked the schools to upload the admission standards by November 28. But out of 1728 schools, there are about 513 schools which have not yet uploaded the standards. Due to non-uploading of standards of these schools, parents are not able to know their standards. Till the standards are not uploaded, they will not be able to fill the form either.
