Several professors of JNU and other institutions were duped by a former JNU employee. People have accused him of cheating crores of rupees by promising to give houses on DDA plots under the Housing Development Scheme.

As per information, the accused misled people for more than seven years. Even after waiting for so long, when these educationists got nothing but empty promises, their patience ran out, after which they lodged a formal complaint with the Delhi Police.
