The Delhi Metro has decided to provide free travel in the metro to visitors arriving on duty on January 26 to attend the 74th Republic Day celebrations. Coupons for free travel will be provided to commuters at all stations on the Metro network on production of the e-invitation card or e-ticket.
According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), commuters will be able to reach the venue directly on the duty path after reaching Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan or Mandi House metro stations to reach the venue. E-invitation card/e-ticket holders will again be able to reach their destination from Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan or Mandi House metro station after the Republic Day celebrations are over.
