Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes Welfare Minister Rajkumar Anand urged Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Singh to fill vacant seats in colleges by reducing the cutoff marks for SC and ST students.
He said that by taking this step, SC students will not face much difficulties for admission in DU. The minister said that in this academic session, about 6,000 seats are lying vacant in the seats reserved for SC students in DU.
