Pinky Irani, an aide of Sukesh Chandrasekhar, accused of cheating more than Rs 200 crore, used to enter Tihar Jail in royal style. He was given entry like the Director General of Prisons. On seeing Pinky, all the gates of Tihar used to open and there was no checking. This sensational disclosure has been made by Pinky himself during the interrogation of Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police. The EOW arrested Pinky on Wednesday after questioning. Pinky was taken to Tihar Jail on Thursday.

A senior Delhi Police officer said that Pinky had gone to Tihar more than 15 times to meet Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Whenever she went to Tihar, she got free access. The officers would come to pick him out and take him to Sukesh’s jail. Neither a pass was made for Pinky nor a slip was made. In the investigation, it has come to light that Pinky does not even have an entry to go to Tihar. In such a situation, the police is examining the CCTV footage.

At the same time, a team of EOW took Pinky to Tihar Jail on Thursday. Pinky took her to Tihar to know the answers to questions like through which gate she used to go inside the jail, how she used to go and till which jail she used to go. The place where she used to meet Sukesh in Tihar was also traced. Pinky was kept in Tihar from morning to evening on Thursday.
