Delhi: Youth Shot Dead Due To Enmity In Kanjhawala

A youth was shot dead in Kanjhawala area. On Monday evening, the police found his body in an empty plot in the area. He has been sent for postmortem. Police officers say that two suspects have been taken into custody and are being interrogated. In the initial investigation, the reason for the murder is believed to be mutual enmity. The deceased has been identified as Deepak (25). He lived with his family in Rupali Enclave, Karla and worked as a WiFi installer.

At around 5.45 pm on Monday evening, the police received information about a dead body found in an empty plot near Bulla Colony, Kanjhawala. The police who reached the spot found during the investigation that the young man was shot dead in the temple. During the investigation, the police did not find any CCTV camera near the spot. By registering the case, the police started investigation. The police had arrested Prem Babu and his wife Urmila and Rakhal Mandal and his wife Chandana living in Laxmi Nagar on charges of murder. Rakhal Mandal got bail on May 15, 21. After this he was not appearing in the court.

The court had issued non-bailable warrants against him on September 7, 2022. Police was searching for the accused under the supervision of ACP Ved Prakash posted in Special Cell. It was reported that Rakhal Mandal has got married and is living somewhere in West Bengal. Eventually the team of SI Satyavan and Constable Ashish arrested the accused Rakhal Mandal alias Raju from West Bengal.
