The Personal Contact Program (PCP) classes of the Campus of Open Learning (COL), Department of Distance and Continuing Education, University of Delhi, can now be taken live. COL is going to start PCP classes from Sunday. For the first time, they can also be taken through YouTube. Students can also take offline classes. Students who do not attend classes will have the benefit of live classes.

Director of Campus of Open Learning Prof. Payal Mago informed that MBA, MLISc, BBA (FIA), BMS, BLISc programs have been started in COL from this academic session, while earlier BCom (Hons), BCom, BA (Hons) Political Science, BA Hons English The study of the program takes place. Till now, offline PCP classes (on Sundays and other holidays) are conducted for the studies of the programs already running, but from this time for the first time the classes of all the programs are also being started live on YouTube. These classes are being started from Sunday.

Pro. Mago said that this is the first time that PCP classes are being started on time. On conducting classes on YouTube, he said that there are many students who do not attend offline classes. In such a situation, those students can sit and study in live classes from anywhere. There is a separate YouTube channel for each program. He said that all the courses would be taught under the undergraduate curriculum framework only.

The offline classes for the new MBA, BBA (FIA) and BMS courses will be held at the Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, while the MLISc and BLISc classes will be held at the Shaheed Raj Guru College of Applied Sciences for Women. These classes will also be streamed live and will be available online on YouTube. COL DU is planning to start remedial classes for these courses from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM on weekdays.
