The counting of votes for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections is underway. Trends have also started coming. If we talk about the wards falling in the constituencies of BJP MLAs, BJP is currently trailing in all the wards of Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly and BJP leader Ramveer Singh Bidhuri. Here AAP is leading in three wards. NCP is ahead on one and independent candidates on one.
BJP is leading in three out of five wards of BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht, while BSP is leading in one and AAP is leading in the other. Let us know what is the condition of BJP MLAs in other areas?
1. Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, Leader of Opposition, Delhi Legislative Assembly
Ramveer Singh Bidhuri is the Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly. He won from Badarpur seat in Delhi in 2020. Bidhuri’s Vidhansabha Constituency has five wards namely Badarpur (Ward-180), Moladband (Ward-181), Mithapur (Ward-182), Harinagar Extension (Ward-183) and Jaitpur (Ward-184). Safe for women, Veena from BJP, Manju Devi from AAP and Renu Chowdhary from Congress are in the fray from Badarpur (Ward-180). BJP’s Gagan Kasana, AAP’s Hemchand Goyal and Congress’s Rajveer Sharma are in the fray from Moldband (Ward-181). Guddi Devi from BJP, Rita from AAP and Amiri Devi from Congress are in the fray for Mithapur (Ward-182) seat. Mithlesh Kumar from BJP, Nikhil Chaprana from AAP and Rajender from Congress are contesting from Harinagar Extension. Rachna Mishra from BJP, Hema from AAP and Sana Fatima from Congress are in fray from Jaitpur (Ward-184).

2. Vijender Gupta, BJP MLA- Rohini
Vijender Gupta is the BJP MLA from Rohini Assembly seat in Delhi. Vijender is one of the two BJP MLAs from Delhi who won the last assembly elections as well. There are three wards in his assembly constituency Rohini-F (Ward-52), Rohini-E (Ward-53) and Rohini-D (Ward-54).

In this election, he defeated AAP’s Shridutt Sharma by a margin of 28,000 votes. Mahawar’s assembly constituency consists of four wards namely Brahmapuri (Ward-229), Bhajanpura (Ward-230), Ghonda (Ward-231) and Yamuna Vihar (Ward-232).

Anil Vajpayee was elected MLA from Gandhi Nagar seat in 2020 assembly elections. Vajpayee won this election by defeating AAP’s Naveen Chowdhary. He defeated the AAP candidate by six thousand votes. Three wards Gandhi Nagar (Ward-212), Shastri Park (Ward-213) and Azad Nagar (Ward-214) come in Vajpayee’s assembly constituency.
