The fraudsters, who duped 28 victim youths on the pretext of getting them jobs, kept monitoring trains and coaches in Delhi for a month. The victim youth did not even realize the fraud during this period. The victim youths were thinking that they have got a job and they are doing their duty. The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police has started investigation by registering an FIR after receiving the complaint.

A senior Delhi Police officer said that M Subbusani (78), an ex-serviceman from Tamil Nadu, has lodged a complaint with the EOW. He has said in his complaint that the victim youth kept monitoring trains and coaches on different platforms at New Delhi Railway Station for a month between the months of June and July.

The gang of fraudsters duped the victim youths of Rs 2.67 crore. The youths were made to do duty for eight hours daily on different platforms of the railway station. The youths were told that this is their duty. The youths were tricked into recruiting for the posts of ticket examiner, traffic assistant and clerk.

According to police officials, the students were introduced to the fraudsters by M. Subbusani. Although M. Subbusani was not aware that he was introducing the youth to the fraudsters. M. Subbusani had given money to a person named Vikas Rana. He described himself as Deputy Director in the Northern Railway office in Delhi. Most of the victim students have done engineering. No one was arrested in this case till Tuesday evening.
