Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, while interacting with the teachers and headmasters of government schools who have taken training from Finland, Singapore and Cambridge at Tyagraj Stadium on Sunday, said that due to the education revolution in Delhi, tented schools have now become talent schools. Training of teachers along with excellent infrastructure changed the atmosphere in the school and the results started coming good. Critics also believe that there has been a revolutionary change in the education sector of Delhi.

Earlier, the government wanted that better government schools should be built than private schools, they were built. Now the thinking is to become better than the schools of the world. Education revolution has reached in Punjab also. A ‘School of Eminence’ is being started in every assembly constituency and the first batch of teachers is going to Singapore for training. The Chief Minister said that for the first time efforts are being made to get teachers and principals of government schools trained abroad. Had this scheme been made only after independence, poverty would have been eradicated from the country by now. India will progress only when we give good education to the children.
